About The Position
We are a global healthcare leader and a pioneer in the plasma derivatives industry. We are seeking a licensed Physician from any medical background to serve as our part-time Alternate Medical Director. This role is ideal for a practicing or retired medical professional looking for a minimal-time commitment. You will provide essential clinical oversight, review laboratory quality control, and ensure regulatory compliance for our plasma collection facility.
Requirements
- Medical Degree (MD or DO).
- Current, unrestricted medical license in the state of operation.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the designated Medical/Laboratory Director to satisfy CLIA, FDA, and state regulations.
- Conduct monthly reviews of center laboratory quality control logs, proficiency testing, and center safety protocols.
- Review complex donor suitability cases, oversee medical staff training certifications, and address any infrequent adverse event reports.
- Ensure the center remains audit-ready for internal, federal, and state regulatory inspections.
