About The Position

The Stratton Winter Sports Club Alpine Race Coach position provides modern Alpine race coaching, feedback, and leadership for skiers with the goal helping SWSC athletes develop skills needed for ski racing in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. This is a part-time seasonal position. This position starts at $20.00/hour, with increases based on certifications. Recruitment for this role will be ongoing through December.

Requirements

US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA membership
Current Safesport, CPR and First Aid and CDC Heads Up Concussion

Nice To Haves

Additional industry certifications or endorsements would be strongly preferred
Previous experience, knowledge, and understanding of US Ski & Snowboard and/or USASA rules and regulations, and venue maintenance

Responsibilities

Execute in-season programming plan put forth by SWSC managers
Maintain excellent guest and employee rapport and ensure customer satisfaction remains at the highest level possible
Prepare and supervise training and competition venues to ensure safety while athletes are training
Maintain the highest safety standards and code compliance for guests and staff daily
Other duties as assigned by management
