About The Position

In this role, you will work with various State Street teams to support middle office services and processing. The position will interface daily with the client’s investment operations and act as a subject matter expert and escalation point. Position has daily Client SLAs, must ensure that communication to the client is timely and accurate and ensure client escalations are resolved within the client’s expectations. This role is important to us as it will interact and provide support to numerous teams and departments within the organization, including Portfolio Services, Trade Settlement, Performance, Reconciliation and others, and act as a subject matter expert for Middle Office. Builds cooperative and professional internal/external relationships and utilizes all available resources throughout the organization to achieve company, team, and client goals. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with emphasis in finance, accounting, or economics or equivalent work experience in finance or accounting
  • 0-2 years related industry experience including operational experience
  • Working knowledge of Domestic and International financials and all related instruments
  • Strong willingness to learn and attention to detail
  • Ability to develop business relationships within and outside the organization
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, organizational and problems solving skills
  • Ability to multi-task, balance workload and work in a deadline oriented position
  • Ability to meet aggressive SLA Deadlines
  • Computer proficient including spreadsheet and database applications

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for managing multiple external client / investment manager relationships.
  • Responsible for the day-to-day management and successful oversight of the long-term relationships of assigned accounts.
  • Ensures superior client satisfaction by acting as an advocate for clients and ensuring client issues are satisfactorily resolved.
  • Proactive identification of client needs and potential internal issues impacting client satisfaction.
  • Works closely with internal teams and clients to drive execution of initiatives.
  • Facilitates communication between Client Service Operations & other business units to ensure an effective operating environment.
  • Works with senior management keeping them informed of new developments, service issues, and new business opportunities.
  • Provides project management support for client related initiatives.
  • Acts as a liaison between business units to ensure successful implementation of service deliverables are being provided to the clients and the team.
  • Manages internal and client expectations.
