About The Position

Carvana is hiring an Alloy Wheel Repair Technician to repair wheels at a high-tech vehicle Inspection Center. The work includes repairing deep wheel damage, operating a wheel repair machine, and painting and clear-coating wheels. Carvana provides training programs for employees entering in an entry-level position, with the goal of helping their skills and pay progress. The position is on the second shift, Monday through Thursday, from 5:00 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.; hours may include mandatory overtime based on business needs. Applicants must have at least one year of professional experience in wheel or rim repair, be at least 18 years old, and have a valid driver’s license. The job requires physical operation of vehicle equipment and tools, lifting up to 60 pounds independently, working in a fast-paced production environment that can involve heat or cold, and using required safety equipment. Applicants must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Hiring is contingent on passing a complete background check. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.

Requirements

At least one year of professional experience in wheel or rim repair.
At least 18 years of age.
Valid driver’s license; some positions may be subject to a Motor Vehicle Records check.
Ability to physically operate vehicle equipment and tools and lift up to 60 pounds independently.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing production environment, sometimes exposed to excessive heat or cold.
Use required safety equipment, which may include a face shield or goggles, non-slip shoes, gloves, a mask, and other protective garments and equipment.
Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
Must pass a complete background check.
