About The Position

This position is for an All-Source Intelligence Analyst who will provide intelligence analysis support related to the analysis, processing, development, and distribution of strategic and criminal intelligence supporting Federal Protective Services operations. The role involves working alongside Government civilians and other Government contractors and instructors for a national security services firm. Requirements

  • Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited institution, preferred in International Studies, Intelligence, Homeland Security, Criminal Justice, or other related concentration
  • At least 6 years of related experience
  • Prior experience performing Open-Source Collection
  • Experience working researching and providing evaluations for Intelligence Information Reports (IIR)
  • Knowledge of DHS FPS intelligence authorities, DHS component missions, and the role of FPS in supporting the DHS Intelligence Enterprise; overall FPS intelligence research, analysis, and production process
  • Specific knowledge of Title 18 authorities
  • Knowledge of multiple open-source areas including surface, deep, and dark web
  • Knowledge of multiple collection techniques or approaches
  • Knowledge of developing a collection plan and dissemination practices
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office suite, common Open-Source tools, and DHS data systems

Responsibilities

  • Preparing all-source intelligence products (e.g., intelligence briefs, written intelligence threat estimates, and intelligence threat bulletins)
  • Establishing and maintaining systematic, cross-referenced criminal intelligence records and files
  • Receiving and processing incoming reports and messages from security and law enforcement offices
  • Determining the significance and reliability of incoming information
  • Assisting in the analysis and evaluation of intelligence holdings to determine changes in capabilities, vulnerabilities, and probable courses of action
  • Assembling and proofreading intelligence reports and assisting in consolidating them into customer-required format
  • Storing and retrieve criminal intelligence data using Government-furnished computers
  • Preparing criminal intelligence products
  • Preparing threat briefs, threat assessments and criminal intelligence analytical support
  • Maintaining awareness of emerging criminal intelligence and security threats
  • Other duties as assigned
