About The Position

Parsons Corporation is seeking candidates to join a highly successful team that has won and performed over $100 Million of Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA) work around the world for more than 20 years. This challenging and exciting work will provide you with the opportunity to join a team of All Source Analysts in identifying and characterizing threats to the most important DoD defense systems and critical infrastructure. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency (DTRA), Nuclear Enterprise Support Directorate (NE) performs integrated, multidisciplinary, assessments that assess survivability of critical U.S. and allied national/theater mission systems, networks, architectures, infrastructures, and assets. The Parsons Threat Research Team provides the threat knowledge base that informs these assessments. As the Nuclear Enterprise Mission Assurance (NEMA) mission, by necessity, is fluid and requires the teams operating within these environments to be adaptable, the Threat Research Team correspondingly remains flexible to support objectives. Parsons Corporation is looking for a talented All Source Analyst with a Cyber focus to join our team! In this role you will be part of a team with multidisciplinary skills that inform NEMA assessments by illuminating threats to critical systems and infrastructure. Using your cyber knowledge, you will identify threats posed by foreign actors against U.S. information systems and other cyber interests, in support of threat assessments and mission objectives, both foreign and domestic based.

Requirements

  • Experience in at least one of the following areas: intelligence, strategic planning, system operations, or command and control architecture
  • Bachelor's Degree and 7+ year's experience or equivalent experience in lieu of degree
  • Active TS/SCI security clearance required

Nice To Haves

  • An understanding of DoD Strategic telecommunications, National level systems, and architecture assets and platforms.
  • Working knowledge of peer subject matter areas: cyberspace operations, cyber transport, adversarial operations, utilities, structural protection and response, weapons of mass destruction, emergency response, surveillance operations, electromagnetic protection.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying a broad array of threats to DoD installations, sites, critical infrastructure, and assets.
  • Indicate and evaluate potential threat actors, capabilities, and tactics
  • Prioritize the data based on impact to military operations by assisting installation in the development of all hazard and threat assessments.
  • The identification and assessment of assets and threat abilities outside of the installation and integrate this information into a finished assessment product.
