Hometown Grocers is looking to hire immediately for various associate positions, including part-time, full-time, temporary, and regular opportunities across several departments. We are seeking individuals with a passion for guest service, who thrive in a fast-paced environment, and are eager to contribute to our mission of serving quality products. Advancement opportunities are available in many departments.

Requirements

• Food service, cook, retail, restaurant, chef, fast food, grocery, or customer service experience (for Deli roles).
• Passion for guest service.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
• Interest in being busy at all times and in direct contact with guests (for Grocery, Frozen Food & Dairy).
• Love to interact with people and provide exceptional customer service in a retail environment (for Guest Services).
• Creativity and love for baking (for Bakery).
• Interest in learning about the meat department (for Meat).
• Interest in leadership roles (for Leadership).

Nice To Haves

• No experience necessary for some part-time opportunities if the candidate has a passion for guest service and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Involvement in cooking and guest service in the Deli department, including preparing items made in-store.
• Stocking grocery aisles, checking expiration dates, and ensuring shelves are full.
• Providing exceptional customer service and leaving a positive last impression on guests at the Front End.
• Utilizing creativity and passion for baking to create made-from-scratch bakery items.
• Working hands-on with fresh meat products, preparing quality products, and providing guest service in the Meat department.
• Stocking Frozen Food and Dairy aisles, checking expiration dates, and ensuring shelves are full.
• Serving associates in various leadership roles, including Shift Manager, Assistant Manager, and Department Lead.
