About The Position

SCR Mining and Tunnelling is seeking experienced and safety-focused Alimak Raise Miners/Leaders to join their underground mining operations team at Red Lake, Ontario. This role is crucial for establishing emergency escapeway travel systems and infrastructure, breaking rock, cycling rounds, and maintaining underground installations as the face advances. Requirements

Common core completion as well as specialty module U0064 or provincial equivalent
2 years of experience driving Alimak raise / 5 years for leadership role
Positive attitude with the ability to work collaboratively within a team
Legally authorized to work in Canada at the time of application

Responsibilities

Establish emergency escapeway travel systems and infrastructure
Break rock and cycle a full round according to the mining plan
Operate the Alimak and cycle rounds according to plan and procedures
Construct and maintain underground installations as face advances
Follow written and verbal instructions as required to perform your duties in a safe and efficient manner
Ensure proper procedures are followed to ensure safety and to minimize equipment damage
Follow company health and safety standards and report unsafe acts or conditions to your supervisor
