Requirements
- 2+ years of wheel alignment and tire experience -- dealership, independent shop, or tire center backgrounds all welcome
- Proficiency with computerized alignment equipment -- Hunter alignment systems or equivalent strongly preferred
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy -- alignment work directly affects vehicle safety and guest confidence
- Able to work efficiently under the pace of a busy service department without sacrificing precision
- Physically capable of performing the demands of the role throughout the shift
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Nice To Haves
- Mercedes-Benz or European vehicle experience a plus -- not required. Alignment fundamentals transfer across brands and we'll support your MBZ familiarity from day one
Responsibilities
- Perform precision wheel alignments on Mercedes-Benz and multi-brand vehicles using current alignment equipment -- Hunter or equivalent -- to OEM specifications
- Mount, balance, and install tires accurately and efficiently -- supporting the store's tire package program and guest retention goals
- Inspect suspension, steering, and related components during the alignment process -- identifying wear, damage, or safety concerns and communicating findings to service advisors
- Perform pre- and post-alignment road tests to confirm vehicle tracking, handling, and safety
- Support the service department's competitive tire and alignment package program -- accurate, efficient work directly enables the store to offer pricing that keeps guests coming back
- Document all work performed accurately on repair orders
