About The Position

Boulevard Tire Center is growing and seeking a top-notch Alignment Technician/Truck Mechanic for its Orlando, FL location. The ideal candidate will be skilled in inspecting, disassembling, performing wheel alignments, repairing, assembling, and testing all types of vehicles. Responsibilities also include performing various services on automobiles, trucks, and other equipment, such as exhaust, brakes, steering, suspension, and general maintenance.

Requirements

  • Skilled in inspecting, disassembling, performing wheel alignments, repairing, assembling, and testing on all types of vehicles.
  • Ability to perform services on exhaust, brakes, steering, suspension, and maintenance.
  • Experience with tire inspections, repairs, computer balancing, and replacement for automotive vehicles, light-duty trucks, and heavy-duty trucks.
  • Experience with general lubrication, oil changes, belts, hoses, starters, and alternator services.
  • Ability to maintain company standards of cleanliness and orderliness.
  • Ability to maintain operating efficiency of tools and equipment.
  • Ability to comply with Company Safety Policy.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain regular attendance and punctuality.
  • Diagnose and repair brake and hydraulic systems, suspension, and alignment systems to specifications.
  • Remove, install, adjust, rebuild, and replace components such as brake shoes, disc pads, bearings, shock absorbers, mufflers, and tailpipes.
  • Perform road tests on vehicles and conduct vehicle inspections/courtesy checks.
  • Listen to customer concerns to understand vehicle problems and perform test drives to identify noises.
  • Perform tire inspections, repairs, computer balancing, and replacements for automotive vehicles, light-duty trucks, and heavy-duty trucks.
  • Conduct general lubrication, oil changes, and services for belts, hoses, starters, and alternators.
  • Maintain company standards for cleanliness, orderliness, and appearance of workspace and equipment.
  • Ensure the operating efficiency of tools and equipment, arrange for repairs, and recommend new equipment as needed.
  • Maintain A.S.E. certifications, if applicable.
  • Comply with the Company Safety Policy.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Manager.
