Algorithm Engineering Intern
About The Position
This internship role focuses on advancing business priorities by delivering high-impact work within the field of algorithm engineering. The intern will work with traditional and deep learning algorithm techniques, including optical, physical, and mathematical modeling, inverse problems, and AI models to enhance KLA products. Responsibilities include experimenting with novel techniques to improve results or reduce computational costs for processing and analyzing measurement spectra and images, building signal/image processing and analysis tools for more efficient experimentation, managing measurement and imaging data for AI and physics modeling systems, and developing software tools for processing and analyzing measurements and images for KLA products.
Requirements
- Students pursuing a Master's OR PhD-level degree
Responsibilities
- Work with traditional and deep learning algorithm techniques, such as optical, physical, and mathematical modeling, inverse problems, and AI models to meet and improve results on KLA products.
- Experiment with new and novel techniques to improve results or reduce compute cost of various modeling techniques for processing and analyzing measurement spectra and images.
- Build signal/image processing and analysis tools for more efficient experimentation.
- Manage measurement and imaging data used for training and experimentation of AI and physics modeling systems.
- Develop software tools and solutions processing and analyzing measurements and images for KLA products.
