About The Position

Apogee Research is seeking Algorithm Engineers to design, implement, and validate new algorithms for the DoD's shift towards compositional systems of systems. This role involves creating resilient, distributed systems that can adapt quickly to adversarial environments. The work spans domains including networking, distributed data fusion and resource management, distributed electronic warfare, and distributed Command and Control (C2). A strong understanding of probability and statistics is essential, with experience in control systems being desirable. A significant plus is demonstrated ability to characterize the open-loop and close-loop stability of nonlinear systems through analysis, simulation, and experimentation.

Requirements

Understanding of probability and statistics.
Real-world experience is required.
Some software development experience is strongly preferred.
Must be a US citizen to apply.
Must be eligible to obtain a DoD Top Secret clearance.

Nice To Haves

Experience with control systems.
Demonstrated understanding of how to characterize the open-loop and close-loop stability of nonlinear systems via analysis, simulation, and experimentation is a strong plus.
Existing DoD Top Secret clearance is strongly preferred.
