About The Position

This position is for an Algorithm Engineer specializing in Image Processing within KLA's Global Products Group (GPG). The role involves innovating and crafting new algorithms for KLA's inspection products, driving creative ideas, implementing proof of concepts, productizing, and evaluating new algorithms. The engineer will provide technical expertise to support team members, collaborators, and customers, working on challenging problems to become an authority in the Image Processing field and grow responsibilities within the KLA Algorithm team.

Requirements

1+ years of academic or work experience in development in Image Processing (spectral/spatial filtering techniques, model-based methods and inverse problems, etc.).
Experience prototyping Algorithms using MATLAB or Python.
Implementing algorithms in C++ software under Linux.
Full stack hands-on experience with data and backend infrastructure and front-end and user interface for algorithms.
Strong understanding of innovative research in Conventional image processing algorithms.
Hands-on experience in an industry setting solving computer vision challenges.
Strong image processing fundamentals.
Doctorate (Academic) Degree and 0 years related work experience; OR Master's Level Degree and related work experience of 3 years; OR Bachelor's Level Degree and related work experience of 5 years.

Nice To Haves

Familiarity with Linear and Nonlinear Optimization techniques.
Familiarity with CUDA/GPU Programming frameworks (e.g., Keras).
Familiarity with Data Analysis and Visualization tools.
