Algorithm Developer
About The Position
We are looking for a highly talented Algorithm Developer to join our unique product team and help build the next-generation applications and products. You’ll be part of a team developing advanced algorithms for image processing in the semiconductor industry. This role combines cutting-edge algorithm development with high-performance infrastructure design, enabling efficient data streaming and real-time processing for complex workflows. We are part of the R&D department of a major brand new and exciting Product, responsible for developing the next generation software and algorithm solutions that will power Applied Materials’ cutting-edge metrology and inspection system.
Requirements
- 10 years of experience in research and development of deep learning and image processing algorithms.
- M.Sc. or Ph.D. in a relevant engineering field
- Proven track record of designing and implementing robust, production-ready solutions.
- Strong attitude to infrastructure development and a collaborative, team-work mindset.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Registration and Scoring algorithms for the Detection domain, including Image to CAD alignment, non‑rigid registration, Defect detection and localization algorithms
- Build Zero to Low Shot training capabilities and contribute to algorithm flows Usability and robustness
- Work closely with image processing software engineers to optimize your algorithm and support the fastest inspection tool in the world.
- Collaborate with architecture and product teams to ensure seamless integration of algorithms, refining requirements and designing scalable solutions that solves customers problems.
