About The Position
FindTutors is one of the leading platforms for private tutoring and personalised education in the United Kingdom. We connect students with qualified tutors across languages and academic subjects, making learning flexible, accessible, and engaging. We are currently looking for motivated and enthusiastic Algebra Tutors to join our growing team. This is a flexible opportunity to teach online or in person, helping students of all ages and levels improve their understanding of Algebra and build confidence in mathematical thinking and problem-solving.
Requirements
- Strong knowledge of Algebra (GCSE and/or A-Level)
- Good communication and explanation skills
- Passion for teaching and mathematics education
- No previous tutoring experience required
- Ability to adapt lessons to different student needs
Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and personalised lessons tailored to each student’s level, goals, and learning style.
- Support students' journeys through GCSE, A-Level, university-level mathematics, and general algebra education.
- Help students strengthen their understanding of key Algebra topics such as linear equations, quadratic equations, inequalities, functions, polynomials, systems of equations, and algebraic reasoning.
- Ensure students achieve their academic goals with confidence.
