About The Position

The Clark County School District (CCSD) is seeking a qualified and dedicated teacher for Algebra II / Geometry I for the 2026-2027 academic year at Del Sol High School. This role involves instructing students in the principles and applications of Algebra II and Geometry I, fostering a positive learning environment, and contributing to the overall academic success of the students. The teacher will be responsible for curriculum delivery, student assessment, and engagement in school-wide activities.

Requirements

Valid Nevada Teaching License with appropriate endorsement in Mathematics (Grades 7-12 or Secondary Mathematics).
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics or a related field.
Proficiency in teaching Algebra II and Geometry.
Knowledge of current educational best practices and technologies.
Ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
Completion of the entire work history in the 'Experience and Credentials' section of the application, including periods of unemployment, schooling, and volunteer work.
Required documents attached at the time of application.

Nice To Haves

Master's degree in Mathematics or Education.
Experience teaching at the high school level.
Experience with diverse student populations.
Bilingual skills (English/Spanish).

Responsibilities
