About The Position

Arcadis is seeking a Senior Survey Technician or Land Surveyor Project Manager to join their Geomatics team in Edmonton. Requirements

  • A diploma or degree from a recognized Geomatics or Surveying program
  • 5-10+ years of experience in the geomatics or land surveying industry
  • Registered Licensed Alberta Land Surveyor
  • A keen interest and experience in land development and construction surveys
  • Strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a positive, proactive approach to teamwork
  • A drive to learn, grow, and build a rewarding career in a supportive and collaborative environment

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil3D, or Trimble equipment is an asset

Responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with clients, consultants, regulatory authorities, and multidisciplinary project teams to obtain, interpret, and communicate critical project information.
  • Guide and manage survey projects through municipal approvals and Alberta Land Titles processes, maintaining schedule, compliance, and client expectations.
  • Lead QA/QC standards for survey plans, legal descriptions, calculations, and deliverables, ensuring technical excellence and regulatory compliance.
  • Oversee the collection and validation of field notes, survey evidence, and background information to support precise, accurate and impactful project deliverables.
  • Lead the planning, execution, and review of topographic, right-of-way, subdivision, and construction layout surveys, ensuring professional standards are upheld.
