About The Position

Holm Electric is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Alarm Technician to join their team. This role involves installing and servicing alarm systems, with a focus on high-end residential installations. The ideal candidate takes pride in protecting people and property, enjoys clean, code-compliant installs, troubleshooting systems in the field, and ensuring every system functions perfectly. Professionalism with clients and ownership of work are key attributes. The position is full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm, and is an in-person role with varying job sites in the Incline Village, Truckee, Reno, and surrounding areas.

Requirements

• Valid Nevada F Card (required)
• Experience installing and servicing alarm systems (residential and/or commercial)
• Knowledge of intrusion, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems
• A steady work history (3 years between hops)
• Pleasant disposition
• High EQ

Responsibilities

• Install and program alarm, fire, CCTV, & access control systems
• Diagnose and resolve system issues
• Ensure all work meets Nevada state requirements & safety codes
• Perform system testing, inspections, & client walkthroughs
• Maintain accurate records, as-builts, and service notes
• Communicate clearly and professionally with clients
• Work closely with Project Managers and other technicians
• Deliver clean, organized, and fully functional installations
