About The Position

Aisles Online Shoppers fulfill online grocery orders by carefully selecting high-quality products from all store departments, including fresh produce, meat, and pantry items. They help ensure orders are accurate, properly handled, and ready for customers on time. The role involves customer service, order picking and staging, payment processing, and assisting with pickup. It is an active, fast-paced position in a retail store setting, with frequent deadlines and multiple tasks. Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen.

Perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning and sanitation duties.

Responsibilities

Greet customers warmly and assist them with their needs throughout the store.
Accurately select the highest-quality groceries ordered online, including produce, meat, and other fresh products.
Select, scan, and bag items from all temperature zones.
Maintain proper product temperatures throughout fulfillment.
Store gathered orders at the proper temperature and retrieve them promptly before customer arrival.
Cart orders to the customer pickup holding area.
Lift, carry, and load groceries into customer vehicles.
Tender customer orders through POS and process credit card payments.
Substitute products when requested by customers or when items are unavailable.
Monitor incoming online orders to ensure prompt, on-time fulfillment.
Answer customer phone calls and emails promptly and provide helpful service.
Follow Hy-Vee dress code, hygiene standards, and department and company guidelines.
Assist with other tasks and special projects as needed.
