About The Position

Grupo EULEN is seeking a Financial Analyst with a strong understanding of airport ground handling operations to bridge the gap between operations, workforce planning, and financial analysis. This role requires professionals who understand the intricacies of ground handling operations and can translate operational activities into the staffing and costs necessary for successful account management. The ideal candidate will be proficient in understanding flight schedules, staffing requirements, productivity, operational hours, and headcount, with strong Excel skills to develop pricing and proposal strategies.

Requirements

  • Ground handling or airport operations experience.
  • Strong Excel and analytical skills.
  • Ability to translate operational hours into staffing/headcount requirements.
  • Understanding of aviation staffing, productivity, schedules, and operational coverage.
  • Comfortable working with both operational and financial data.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to explain the story behind the numbers.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with INFORM or comparable workforce/resource planning systems strongly preferred.
  • Experience with RFPs, contracts, pricing, or financial modeling is a plus, but it is not required.
  • A bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Aviation Management, or a related field is preferred; however, relevant aviation ground handling experience will absolutely be considered.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze operational hours, flight schedules, and workload data from INFORM.
  • Convert operational hours into realistic headcount and staffing requirements.
  • Build staffing assumptions around shift coverage, supervision, productivity, schedules, and days of operation.
  • Analyze staffing requirements across services including Ramp, Cabin Cleaning, Passenger Services, Baggage, GSE, and other ground handling operations.
  • Use Excel to analyze operational data, staffing requirements, labor costs, and financial assumptions.
  • Support cost models incorporating labor, supervision, equipment, supplies, and overhead.
  • Partner directly with Operations, Finance, Sales, and Pricing leadership.
  • Support aviation RFPs, bids, pricing exercises, and new business proposals.
  • Help validate staffing models after contract awards to ensure what was proposed can actually work operationally.
