As a Part-Time Security Officer, you can build a schedule that works for you and explore new roles using our Claim a Shift platform. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government transportation location, you will conduct routine patrols by bike and vehicle, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, employees, and visitors. Requirements

Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
1+ years of Security Experience
21+ years of age
Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
Be at least 21 years of age.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be able to ride a bike.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or government personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of airport terminals, parking areas, access points, perimeter areas, and other assigned facilities to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and notifying appropriate personnel.
Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as directed, and report access-control concerns or policy violations.
Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site requirements.
