Requirements

• Valid Driver's License
• 21+ years of age
• Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
• Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
• Be 21+ years of age.
• Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to all persons at a government airport location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with airport operations and local public agencies per post orders.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of terminals, parking areas, access roads, and perimeter areas; conditions may vary by location and time of day.
• Monitor controlled access points and assist with credential verification, visitor direction, and reporting of unauthorized entry attempts in accordance with site procedures.
• Complete patrol logs and incident reports, communicate key observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts, and support screening of prohibited activity through observation and reporting.
