Requirements

Valid Driver's License
21+ years of age
Have ability to pass a background check, drug screening, and physical exam
Ability to obtain AOA badge (Federal Background Check in ordinance with DOT requirements)
Be 21+ years of age.
Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Be at least 21 years of age for unarmed roles; 22+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to our clients by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies and when appropriate, emergency response activities in a government facility airport environment.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, public areas, parking areas, access points and the perimeter, noting unusual activity and reporting concerns per post orders.
Monitor access control points and restricted areas, verify credentials as required and assist with directing visitors and/or managing pedestrian and vehicle traffic flow.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including medical calls, disturbances, lost property reports and facility alarms, and request assistance when needed.
Complete patrol logs, incident reports and other required documentation, and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.
