About The Position

Allied Universal is seeking a Level 2 Guardian Airport Security Officer to monitor and patrol various areas of the airport, including entrances and restricted areas. This role involves providing access control and patrols while maintaining a visible presence and demonstrating exceptional customer service and communication skills. The position is located in Miami, FL, and is full-time, with all shifts available. Requirements

Active driver's license
Valid Florida Security License D License
At least one of the following: U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or Associate's Degree (60 College Credits on Official Transcripts)
Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles
Possess a high school diploma with one of the following to be considered for this role: U.S. Military Service (DD214 Honorable Discharge); or Police/Corrections Academy Certification (U.S. only with Certificate); or Associate's Degree (60 College Credits on Official Transcripts)
Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

Monitor and patrol various areas of the airport such as the entrances and restricted areas.
Provide access control and patrols.
Remain visible and display exceptional customer service and communication skills.
Handle the pressure of working with a high volume general public (constantly to occasionally).
Provide customer service to clients by carrying out safety and security procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
Participate in industry-specific security/safety training programs.
