About The Position

As an Airport Security Officer: Tues, Wed, Thurs in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government airport location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for travelers, visitors, and staff. You will provide exceptional customer service and communication while representing Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and caring culture with integrity and teamwork.

Requirements

• 18+ Years of Age
• Valid Drivers License
• Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
• Ability to use computers - basic computer knowledge
• Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and physical exam
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and agency personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminals, parking areas, roadways, operational facilities, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and credential-controlled areas, verify authorized entry as directed, and report access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and communication protocols.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations accurately, and communicate relevant information to supervisors and appropriate airport personnel.
