Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 1+ years of Security Experience
  • 18+ years of age
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, airport personnel, and other stakeholders by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, perimeter zones, roadways, and other assigned airport locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points, restricted areas, and public-facing locations; verify credentials as directed and report unauthorized access concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with airport operations, law enforcement, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
  • Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities, while maintaining professional conduct in a high-traffic government transportation environment.
