Requirements

  • Valid Driver's License (+1 years)
  • 1+ years of Airport Security Experience
  • 21+ years of age
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently
  • Ability to pass a background check, physical, and drug screening
  • Ability to pass a background check according to the DOT Pass and ID office
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Nice To Haves

  • A Guard Card/License is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to travelers, visitors, employees, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities at an airport location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of terminal areas, parking facilities, exterior grounds, access points, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report irregularities, hazards, and/or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
  • Maintain accurate activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with airport personnel, law enforcement, emergency responders, and the public.
