This position is responsible for serving as the unit's primary representative working in the Airport Tower for our major customer's operations where decisions such as gate changes, aircraft swaps, and delays are made. The role involves analyzing data from custom computer screens, communicating airline changes and updates to dispatch and catering teams, and monitoring arrival and departure times to ensure timely completion of flights. The supervisor also monitors driver's kitchen department time, alerts management to potential delays, and provides accurate and timely information regarding operations to the SOC. The role includes making operational decisions, communicating directly with transportation teams, and partnering with the Department Manager to research and contest delays. The supervisor tracks all flight, gate, and meal order changes, and serves as a backup supervisor by relaying changes, directing workflow, and resolving customer problems. Additionally, the role involves checking run sheets for accuracy and compliance with customer specifications, and answering and logging customer calls, concerns, and complaints.
