About The Position

Unifi is seeking a part-time Airport Ramp Agent to support airline ground services at Eglin AFB in Florida. No prior experience is required, and paid training is provided. The role involves directing aircraft on the ramp; handling baggage, mail, freight, and company materials; operating ramp equipment; and, as assigned, servicing and cleaning aircraft cabins. The agent must follow safety and operational standards and report safety or security incidents and potential hazards. Work takes place outdoors in potentially severe seasonal weather and includes rotating shifts, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to obtain credentials required by airport, state, or customs authorities.
• Valid driver's license.
• Able to frequently lift more than 70 pounds and constantly lift up to 70 pounds.
• Able to constantly push and pull up to 70 pounds.
• Able to constantly walk, stand, reach above the shoulder, climb, crawl, stoop, squat, kneel, and bend.
• Able and willing to work rotating shifts and hours, including nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.
• Able and willing to work outdoors in weather conditions that may include severe seasonal elements.

Responsibilities

• Marshal arriving, departing, and towed aircraft on the ramp.
• Perform wing-walker duties to protect aircraft wings from equipment during pushback and de-ice aircraft as required.
• Load, unload, sort, and transfer passenger baggage, airmail, freight, and company materials in and out of aircraft bins, belt loaders, or baggage carts.
• Operate ramp equipment, including bag tugs, belt loaders, aircraft tow tractors, water servicing vehicles, and lavatory servicing vehicles.
• As assigned, service aircraft, clean lavatories and cabins, restock supplies, and perform other cabin-service tasks.
• Follow all safety procedures, policies, and company operational standards.
• Complete work safely and securely.
• Immediately report safety and security incidents and potential hazards in accordance with the Unifi Fair and Just Culture Policy.
• Perform other related duties as assigned within the expected skill, experience, and capability requirements.
