Airport Project Manager
About The Position
Multi-state design firm is seeking a Senior Airport Project Manager for their team in Kansas City! This role involves overseeing all aspects of large and complex projects, from planning and execution to delivery. The successful candidate will lead and manage project teams, determine scope, complexity, planning, and scheduling requirements for large projects, and assist in developing quality assurance standards for the firm through regular reviews and audits. Ensuring projects meet quality standards, mentoring and training junior staff, and assisting with business development are also key aspects of this position. The role requires effective communication with clients to ensure a high level of satisfaction and project status updates to stakeholders. Additionally, the Project Manager will manage project resources, including staffing, budgeting, and procurement, to ensure successful project outcomes, monitor project performance and progress, and identify and correct any performance issues. Compliance with safety requirements for project staff working on-site is also mandatory.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, sciences, construction, or planning
- In lieu of a bachelor’s degree, an associate degree with equivalent experience
- 10+ years of consulting experience
- 8+ years of project management experience
- Knowledge of engineering business consulting
- Outstanding client service orientation, communication, leadership and presentation skills
- Authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
