About The Position

Crawford Murphy & Tilly (CMT) is seeking a motivated project manager interested in a fast-track to a leadership role, focusing on traditional airport consulting services. This professional will work closely with and be mentored by the Atlanta-based regional/group airport leader, with opportunities for rapid growth into a future leadership role based on demonstrated ability. The role involves fostering a culture where clients view CMT as an extension of their staff. The work includes managing the technical and financial aspects of various capital improvement and planning projects for airports across the region. Additionally, this professional will mentor junior staff through project lifecycles (design, bidding, construction administration, CIP development) and ensure the creation of high-quality project deliverables. Relevant projects include the rehabilitation of existing and construction of new airport infrastructure such as runways, taxiways, apron areas, and roadways, along with associated grading, drainage, paving, lighting, marking, erosion control, and fencing plans. Local experience is not required, and relocation assistance will be provided.

Requirements

BS in Civil Engineering or related field
Licensed Professional Engineer
Prior experience on civil airfield design projects utilizing FAA Specifications, Advisory Circulars, and Policies & Procedures.

Responsibilities

Managing technical and financial aspects of various capital improvement and planning projects for a variety of airports across the region.
Mentoring junior staff members throughout the life cycle of projects (design, bidding, construction administration, CIP development).
Creating high-quality project deliverables.
Fostering a culture where clients see CMT as an extension of their own staff.
