About The Position

The Project Coordinator – 3rd Shift is responsible for assisting leadership in the planning, coordination, and oversight of overnight airside maintenance, construction, and operational projects within the Department of Aviation Grounds Maintenance. This position serves as the on-site lead for 3rd-shift operations and assumes the authority and responsibilities of the Project Manager in the Project Manager's absence. This is an experienced, skilled, or technical-level position capable of carrying out most assignments typical of the role with limited guidance or review. The Project Coordinator is expected to exercise sound independent judgment, lead field personnel, coordinate with contractors, and ensure that all overnight project activities are conducted safely, efficiently, and in compliance with applicable city or federal standards and regulations.
