About The Position

The Springfield-Branson National Airport is looking for qualified candidates for the position of Airport Police Officer. This position will perform general and specialized law enforcement, security, and safety duties and provide information services. Position will work with TSA, FAA, Airport Fire, and other key staff to keep our airport safe.
Requirements
- Must be a high school graduate or have G.E.D.
- 21 years of age
- Possess a Missouri Class A certification or a Class B certification
- Two years of law enforcement experience which must include responding to calls for service and apprehending, detaining, and arresting suspects.
- P.O.S.T. Class A or B certification by the State of Missouri.
- Proof of United States Citizenship/Authorization to Work in the United States as established by the Immigration Reform Act of 1986.
- Must complete the City of Springfield on-line application in its entirety.
- Candidate profile must include all employment history with accurate and complete information prior to submission.
