About The Position

Cache County Corp is hiring a part-time Airport Operations Specialist to help maintain airport safety and efficiency. The role involves conducting and documenting required Part 139 inspections to comply with federal regulations and the Airport Certification Manual, supporting emergency response, issuing work orders and NOTAMs, and providing service to airport tenants, the public, and employees. Other duties include wildlife mitigation and snow removal operations. The position pays $20.58 per hour.

Requirements

• High school diploma.
• Familiarity with airport operations software and tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to respond calmly and efficiently to airfield emergencies.
• Problem-solving skills to handle operational challenges.

Nice To Haves

• At least one year of hands-on operations experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document required Part 139 inspections in compliance with federal regulations and the Airport Certification Manual.
• Contribute to the airport’s emergency response efforts.
• Issue work orders and relevant NOTAMs to facilitate airport operations.
• Provide service to tenants, the general public, and fellow employees.
• Perform wildlife mitigation.
• Perform snow removal operations.
