About The Position

Perform maintenance and improvements to Airport roads, grounds, runways, taxiways, parking areas, buildings, fixtures and fence lines. Operate and maintain specialized motorized equipment for the purpose of grounds maintenance and snow removal. Work is performed to maintain compliance with FAA standards.

Requirements

• Current Resident of WI
• Valid WI Driver’s License
• High school diploma or G. E. D. equivalent
• At least Two (2) year of experience of semi-skilled mechanical, building and grounds
• Ability to lift/carry up to 60 lbs. and push/pull up to 60Ibs.
• Obtain within 6 months of hire and maintain Commercial Driver’s License-Class B with air brake endorsement
• Obtain within 6 months upon hire and maintain throughout employment - Class 1 Airport Drivers License

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain a variety of motorized equipment to include: Vans, trucks, loaders backhoes, skid steer, graders, sweepers and specialized snow removal equipment.
• Perform daily maintenance and make minor adjustments on equipment.
• Perform maintenance, repairs and improvements to Airport roads, grounds, airfield pavement and fence lines.
• Perform maintenance and repairs to Airport buildings and fixtures.
• Participate in various training classes and seminars.
• Assist in training other maintenance personnel.
