The Line Service position performs general aircraft fueling, customer service, and miscellaneous duties for all aircraft, based and transient, light equipment and automotive maintenance/repairs, light janitorial, and snow removal duties for the DeKalb Taylor Municipal Airport. This position requires a strong customer service background and the ability to work under minimal supervision. The position of Line Service is assigned to the Airport Division of the Public Works Department. The Line Service role is a part-time non-exempt position under the direct supervision of the Airport Manager. This is a part-time position that will average 15 to 20 hours per week and at no time may exceed 1,000 hours in a 12-month period. The work schedule will consist of hours mutually agreed upon with the Airport Manager generally between the hours of 7:30 AM and 5:30 PM, Monday through Sunday with occasional holiday and/or night call outs for aircraft fueling as needed.
