From someone just starting in the maintenance to those with years of experience independently performing diagnostics, major repairs, and complex troubleshooting on fleet vehicles and employee shuttle buses. This position serves all technical levels to assists with maintaining fleet reliability and operational readiness.

Requirements

  • Maintenance experience and knowledge of servicing vehicles
  • Ability to work independently with supervision as required.
  • Valid Driver's License.

Nice To Haves

  • Four to six years of fleet maintenance experience.
  • Multiple ASE certifications.
  • CDL Class A or B with Passenger Endorsement.
  • Experience with fleet maintenance following DOT standards.
  • Refrigeration, HVAC, or advanced electrical certifications.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, diesel, gasoline, electrical, hydraulic, HVAC, and computerized vehicle systems.
  • Perform engine, transmission, suspension, steering, brake, and drivetrain repairs.
  • Utilize diagnostic software and testing equipment to identify vehicle faults.
  • Conduct detailed inspections to ensure compliance with company safety standards and DOT regulations.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to Mechanic I and Mechanic II employees.
  • Assist with repair planning, parts procurement, and inventory control.
  • Verify the quality of completed repairs and maintenance activities.
  • Support emergency roadside and operational repairs as required.
  • Recommend process improvements to increase fleet reliability and efficiency.
  • Perform all other duties within technical capabilities and experience.
