About The Position

This position performs customer service duties. An incumbent in this position may be designated as Customer Service Representative I. This is a Full-Time position working Sunday, Monday and Tuesday from 7:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. and Wednesdays 7:00 a.m. - 11:00 a.m. Salary depends on qualifications.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of modern office principles and practices.
  • Knowledge of department and city policies and procedures and federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
  • Knowledge of billing and collection procedures.
  • Skill in the operation of computers and other standard office equipment.
  • Skill in planning, organization, and decision making.
  • Skill in oral and written communication.
  • Applicants must meet the City criteria for an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

  • Greets customers and ensures their comfort as they come into the F.B.O.
  • Assists in taking care of customer and pilot needs.
  • Accepts customer requests for service.
  • Answers customer telephone calls; answers customer questions or refers to appropriate personnel.
  • Processes all payments received.
  • Updates and maintains files.
  • Processes fuel and FBO service invoices and customer receipts.
  • Operates and maintains cash drawer; balances receipts daily.
  • Provides additional assistance to customers as needed, such as catering, hotel reservations, ground transportation, etc.
  • Able to work on a computer-based system.
  • Has a good understanding of customer service in an airport environment.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.
