About The Position

This position performs customer service duties. An incumbent in this position may be designated as Customer Service Representative I. This is a Full-Time position; schedule hours are Wednesday's 3:00 PM - 7:00 PM, Thursday's, Friday's and Saturday's 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM Salary depends on qualifications

Requirements

Knowledge of modern office principles and practices.
Knowledge of department and city policies and procedures and federal, state, and local laws and regulations.
Knowledge of billing and collection procedures.
Skill in the operation of computers and other standard office equipment.
Skill in planning, organization, and decision making.
Skill in oral and written communication.
Applicants must meet the City criteria for an acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

Greets customers and ensures their comfort as they come into the F.B.O.
Assists in taking care of customer and pilot needs.
Accepts customer requests for service.
Answers customer telephone calls; answers customer questions or refers to appropriate personnel.
Processes all payments received.
Updates and maintains files.
Processes fuel and FBO service invoices and customer receipts.
Operates and maintains cash drawer; balances receipts daily.
Provides additional assistance to customers as needed, such as catering, hotel reservations, ground transportation, etc.
Able to work on a computer-based system.
Has a good understanding of customer service in an airport environment.
Performs other related duties as assigned.
