About The Position
Several full-time positions are available with the Aviation Department - Bus Operations Division. This role involves transporting passengers between terminals and parking facilities at the airport, adhering to all operating and safety procedures. The position requires responding courteously to customer inquiries, assisting passengers with boarding and exiting vehicles, fueling and maintaining fuel records for assigned vehicles, and cleaning vehicle interiors and exteriors. Additionally, the role may involve entering restricted areas for transportation between planes and terminals, performing safety checks around the bus, and other assigned duties.
Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Must be able to work nights and weekends.
- Must be able to assist elderly or handicapped passengers.
Nice To Haves
- Previous bus operator experience.
- Customer service experience.
Responsibilities
- Transports passengers between the terminals and parking facilities at the airport observing all operating and safety procedures.
- Responds to customer inquiries in a concise and courteous fashion.
- Assists passengers who need assistance in entering and exiting the vehicles.
- Fuels assigned vehicle as needed and maintains fuel records.
- Cleans interiors and exteriors of vehicles in preparation for passenger service.
- Assists elderly or handicapped passengers to board or debark from assigned vehicle.
- May be required to enter restricted areas to provide transportation between planes and terminals.
- Performs safety checks around the bus.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
