The Airport Assistant General Manager (Emergency Management) reports to the Airport General Manager or Deputy General Manager and directs multiple major airport functions. In addition to emergency management, areas of authority include administration and business, Airport operations and security, maintenance and engineering, and others deemed necessary by the General Manager or Deputy. This position is responsible for both strategic planning and day-to-day operations of the entire Airport, allocating budgeted resources as needed, establishing processes and procedures, and playing a significant role in developing Airport policy and Airport strategic emergency management plans. This is a fully seasoned senior leadership position within the Airport structure, charged with the responsibility of directing multiple specialized functions and a large organization within the Airport through multiple duty chiefs, directors, and managers.
