Airport Apprentice Engineer
About The Position
Operate under the direction of the Chief Engineer or his/her designee, the Apprentice shall act as an Engineer, except working a shift without at least one Journeyman Operating Engineer present to oversee his/her activities. Such duties include, but are not limited to, operating all heating and air conditioning equipment, pumps, air compressors, generators, fan systems, and other mechanical related equipment. Also, other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer. The Apprentice Engineer must be a current member and remain a member of Local 399’s Engineer Apprentice Program.

- Must be a current member and remain a member of Local 399’s Engineer Apprentice Program.

- Operating air compressors
- Operating generators
- Operating fan systems
- Operating other mechanical related equipment
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Chief Engineer
