Airport Agent - Ramp and Customer Service
About The Position
Envoy Air, an American Airlines Group Company, is hiring immediately for Airport Agents at Corpus Christi International Airport. This role offers a stable, fun, secure, and fast-growing team environment committed to providing outstanding customer service, with no prior experience required. As a Customer Service Agent, you will be responsible for greeting passengers, providing a seamless check-in and ticketing experience, and utilizing reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes. The position also involves physical tasks such as lifting customers' bags onto the belt, and loading, unloading, and sorting freight, mail, and baggage safely to ensure on-time departures and arrivals. You will also operate company vehicles on the tarmac and work outdoors in various weather conditions. Shifts are varied and may include irregular and/or extended hours, weekends, and holidays, with opportunities for overtime.
Requirements
- Must be able to carry, bend, lift and turn with bags weighing up to 75 pounds
- Possess a valid, unexpired and unsuspended state driver’s license; some license restrictions may prohibit a candidate from being considered for this role
- 18 years or older
- High school diploma, GED, or international equivalent
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
- Authorized to work in U.S. without sponsorship
Responsibilities
- Greet passengers and provide a seamless check-in and ticketing experience
- Utilize reservation/ticketing software to rebook itineraries and issue boarding passes
- Interact with customers in a courteous, efficient, and friendly manner
- Lift customers’ bags onto the belt
- Load, unload and sort freight, mail and baggage in a safe manner
- Achieve on-time departures and arrivals
- Operate company vehicles on the tarmac to transport bags to their destination
