About The Position

Airline Catering Drivers are responsible for loading galley equipment onto a truck, driving the truck to aircrafts, and unloading the equipment. This role is crucial in ensuring that passengers have a positive travel experience by providing them with necessary catering and supplies. The position requires adherence to strict safety and sanitation regulations, as well as customer guidelines, while interacting with airline representatives and working collaboratively within the transportation team.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is preferred.
• Up to one-year experience preferred.
• Current Florida driver's license.
• Customs Seal from local airport authority.
• Must be able to read and write to complete required forms in English.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers in English.
• Must work assigned schedule which may vary and could include weekends and holidays.
• Must arrive to work on-time.
• Must comply with company policies.
• Must be 21 years of age.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move product, equipment and supplies up to fifty (50) pounds frequently during shift.
• Must be able to stand, bend, lift, and move intermittently during shifts of 8+ hours.
• Must be able to work at heights up to 25 feet or more depending upon aircraft.

Responsibilities

• Loads equipment onto the truck.
• Drives the truck to the aircraft at the local airport.
• Loads galleys according to customer guidelines.
• Unloads dirty equipment and places it and trash in the designated area at the local facility.
• Accomplishes all activities according to customer guidelines and while adhering to safety and sanitation regulations.
• Interacts with airline representatives at the aircraft.
• Follows directions.
• Works as a member of the Transportation team.
• Completes paperwork and related administrative duties.
• Works overtime when required.
