Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age
Be authorized to work in the United States
Must be able to clear a background and drug screen
Must be able to lift up to up to 75 lbs consistently throughout the shift
Strong verbal and written communication skills using appropriate grammar, tone, and pronunciation to effectively communicate with internal and external customers
Complete all required training including airport compliance
Able to obtain an airport badge

Experience in customer service preferred

Responsibilities

Verify passenger boarding pass with their checked bag and move the bags to the security screening induction system
Provide general information to passengers, give directions and flight information
Provide monitoring of the local baggage claim areas (carousels) as assigned, remove unclaimed baggage from carousel and assist agents in securing bags
Scan all bags in the claim area within 15 mins from carousel removal
Assist customers with their baggage in any airport area
Be able to recognize and enforce in the hazmat/dangerous goods program of the customer airline(s) concerning checked baggage
Carrying out other duties as assigned
