Denver International Airport (DEN) is seeking an Airport Commercial Administrator to join its Airline Affairs team. This role involves administering assigned airport revenue programs, ensuring compliance with airport objectives, relevant laws, rules, and regulations. The administrator will be responsible for scheduling and completing annual physical inspections of leased spaces, ensuring accurate billing, and establishing and implementing program objectives. This includes developing and modifying work plans, implementing standards, setting priorities, and ensuring programs operate in conformance with established standards and requirements, as well as conducting needs assessment and program evaluation. The position also focuses on identifying new revenue opportunities and cost reduction for existing programs, developing input for policies, and identifying internal and external stakeholders for program changes. The administrator will create and oversee committees, develop requests for proposals, negotiate and manage contracts, and ensure satisfactory contractor performance. Financial operations within budget limits, managing and negotiating tenant billing, and developing innovative programs are also key aspects. The role requires resolving complex cross-functional problems, acting as a program spokesperson, and recommending the airport’s position on pertinent business issues. Advanced skills are necessary to evaluate program areas, conduct program research, aid in developing and implementing best management practices, track program performance metrics, and design quality management standards. The administrator will also identify operational inefficiencies, coordinate with contractors, airlines, and other stakeholders on airport projects, and provide input for changes to airport policies and procedures for revenue program areas. Employees may be re-deployed to support core City functions during a city-wide emergency.
