De Havilland Aircraft of Canada Limited (DHC) is seeking motivated Aircraft Technician - Mechanics to support production and major modifications on De Havilland aircrafts. This is an opportunity for soon-to-be graduates from an Aircraft Maintenance Engineer – Mechanics program to launch their careers in aerospace by working hands-on with the world-class DHC-515 Firefighter (Waterbomber) in a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Calgary, Alberta. The role involves assembling and installing mechanical systems, components, and structures, fitting and aligning mechanical parts, installing and connecting various aircraft systems, performing quality checks, interpreting technical documentation, maintaining a safe work environment, disassembling components for inspection, installing and testing mechanical systems, assisting with troubleshooting, and using specialized tools. Accurate record-keeping of work performed and parts used is essential. The position may also involve additional duties and flexibility for shift work as needed.
