About The Position
AMETEK MRO is seeking a hands-on, innovative Engineer to join their team and make an impact in the Aerospace and Defense industry. This role involves working on cutting-edge heat transfer products and FAA-certified repair solutions in a fast-paced environment. The engineer will be part of a dynamic engineering team, contributing to the design, maintenance, and repair of heat transfer products for aerospace applications, supporting FAA Repair Station activities, and developing DER repairs. The position requires applying engineering principles to deliver FAA FAR-145 component repair solutions, leading projects from concept to completion, and collaborating across teams to resolve technical feasibility and production issues. Building strong customer relationships while ensuring compliance with industry standards is also a key aspect of the role.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (BSME) or higher.
- 5+ years in a regulated industry (Aerospace/Defense preferred).
- Strong technical and analytical skills (including FEA).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proven project management and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, multitask, and meet deadlines.
- A team player with ambition and flexibility to grow professionally.
- U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (due to U.S. Government contracts).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs with or without reasonable accommodation.
Nice To Haves
- FAA certification knowledge is a plus.
