The Aircraft Support Manager will direct and coordinate all aspects of a hangar support function to ensure timely and cost-effective fulfillment of delivery schedules and optimum safety and quality standards. Support areas include: Avionics, Paint, Interiors or Maintenance. This role requires comprehensive leadership of Repair and Overhauls Structures, Thrust Reverser, Composites, and Paint operations, ensuring maintenance, repair, modification, and refurbishment activities are executed safely, efficiently, and in full compliance with FAA Repair Station, Quality Control, and company requirements. Responsibilities include planning and managing manpower, schedules, budgets, training, and resources across multiple aircraft projects; providing technical oversight and guidance to technicians; ensuring work is accomplished using approved engineering and maintenance data; coordinating closely with Engineering, Quality Control, Planning, Materials, and Production Control; driving root cause corrective actions and continuous improvement initiatives; supporting customer quoting and proposal development; and maintaining operational readiness through workforce qualification management, inspection coordination, airworthiness compliance, and effective communication across all shifts. The position demands strong expertise in structural repairs, composite repairs, thrust reverser systems, aircraft paint operations, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional aerospace maintenance leadership to deliver high-quality aircraft on schedule and within budget.
