About The Position

Under moderate supervision, the Aircraft Paralegal assists the Aviation practice with projects related to the aviation industry. As a member of a professional support staff team, this position will also promote and maintain the goodwill and reputation of the Firm and maintain the highest level of professional conduct and confidentiality.

Requirements

• High School diploma or the equivalent is required.
• Skilled with MS Office Suite and other office products.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and willingness to conduct research to learn new tasks.
• Strong organizational skills to maintain work lists, organize documents, and monitor deadlines and filings.
• Ability to ask questions, clarify issues, and provide project updates as needed.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills (comprehension & expression).
• Strong command of the English language, including excellent spelling, grammar, punctuation, form and style.
• Detail-oriented and ability to create, compose, proof and edit correspondence.
• Possess sense of initiative and responsibility to manage case load and maintain confidentiality of records and information.
• Ability to work in a fast paced, high-pressured environment and maintain case/trial deadlines.

Nice To Haves

• Minimum of 2 years of experience with the International Registry preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Transactions will involve the buying, selling, leasing and financing of aircraft
• Under Attorney supervision, prepare, coordinate and complete web-based registrations on the International Registry of Mobile Assets working closing with clients and support staff
• Management of Professional User Entity and Transacting User Entity accounts including permissions, delegations, authorizations and account maintenance
• Examine International Registry Priority Search Certificates and corresponding FAA records to verify ownership and identify existing liens, security interests and other recorded interests on the International Registry
• Ability to handle multiple transactions and tasks in a fast-paced environment
